Evolution Hacienda Classics 17-06-05

Big thanks to Mart from the lifts in to town and back

Another good night, despite being fairly quiet early on, didn't fill up until 12.30 ish.

Enjoyed Jon's set, although towards the end he was playing some different stuff to what I expected, including Glam - Hell's Party and also some new Techno stuff that came out in 2005

Think he was frustrated with the sound and deck problems, which Music Box need to get sorted [right hand deck has probs with the phono outs, phasing and only 1 chan working] ended up putting mixer in mono to try get round that problem.

Again, the atmosphere was electric in there, no attitude or trouble all night

Not sure if what I played was ok like as was a bit from indulging while Jon was on and kidded myself I'd be fine by 2am lol, oops!

Thanks to all who came out, still got pics and vid footage on me camera which I need to get sorted later

First time at Evolution and I had a boss, boss night

Spent most of the night in the main room but kept popping into the mini Hazy to catch Pluto, Annie and Mart who all played some excellent tunes
The atmosphere was excellent <0/ and was boss to see some of the Hazy crew out
Never stopped dancin and was well
Really enjoyed Jammers set
Shouts to Woody n Jammer for the accomodation, SJ n Pauly for the liftage and to evry1 who was out
Hope there is another one v soon

Aye I had a good night enjoyed meself - i was a bit wobbly at times after some magic potion lol at one point I was just trying to pretend that i was a human instead of the real truth - an alien from out of space lol and the floor was like a jelly babys head. Good crowd apart from a few sketchy characters but no problems at all. Buzzed off the tunes and top scratchin from the Jammer Man and buzzed off the people who went. At times it was a bit acidy but then again so was i lol so it all evened itself out. Had a big head realisation moment when Jon Da Silva dropped Screen II - Hey Mr DJ and remember sayin "No way has he dropped my tune!" ha ha then I realised it was him that actually made that mix lol doh! Had a good old boogie - End Result - Happy as a pig in shite!

P.S. Butty kept tryin to fob me off with this handbag style paper bag with wires in at the end of the night and got away with it in the end so i had to pretend that it was a mcDonalds by picking up an empty packet of fries off the floor and hold it against it so that people wouldn't think it had loads of makeup in it ha ha

Good to see everybody out that turned up! Top Chiefs!

Had a top night. The sound and tunes in the back room were ace. Didn't catch much of Jon DaSilva or Jammer but heard a huge variety of stuff being played. Something for everyone. Wasn't too sure about Hells Party tho - every time I hear it reminds me of that Cookie whatsitsface tune - The Key, The Secret...

Top atmosphere. If there's another deffo count me in...

Mart

Quality night! Brought some mates down from work who'd heard about the first one and they loved it - deffo up for another one. Was a bit by some of the tunes but still kept us dancing 'till chucking out time.

Thanks to Dannster for keeping us entertained... liked the bizarre conversation about the wall with a bit of silver paint on it
