didnt venture downstairs much at all after 11.30 .... tunes were just soooo good upstairs, again, as per usual another mad weekend dealt with! hopefully sees yas at the next one

Got back from Liverpool at 10pm yday and then played on PR till 4am... omg. Well, I had to try out the 100 or so '88-'92 house n techno pieces I picked up in Manc on Sat morning, or I couldn't have slept (The set's ripped if you want to have a laugh) Shout out to Jack and Champers (they sorted me right out on the train back - didn't seem like 3 hours to get home)

Back to the task in hand... Hazy....(and a bit of context too - soz)

So... arrived Friday 12midnight... over to Grover n Shazes for a late night chill out (can't say enough about the level of hospitality extended to me... makes me proud to be considered a trusted friend)

Over to Manc for a crate digging sesh with Dreamgirl n Dodgy... thanks for the taxi service ;o) (how boss are they? they even drove to Bolton so I could pick up my mint 1200mk5's) Love ya both - top peeps - we had a giggle on Sat - set up the weekend properly for me.

After setting up a few deco's in Zanzibar, chipped off to pre-hazy drinks at the Grapes round the corner - proper boozer (my sort of drinking establishment!) good choice... caught an hour Vertigo. Nice choonage boss.

Straight to Hazy at 9... straight upstairs to The Attic. Wicked murals on wall, plus added eye candy in the form of strobage and moon flower lighting... nice. Is right

Managed to hold down the Persians for the most of the night... meant I was able to dance straight through without any hint of braindeath.

Annie ripped up the start sesh... wicked electro n techno n house (best sets always cover a lot of ground and leave you thinking "what's the next track gonna be?) Ace.

Grover played a blinder... tight as a nun's wotsit mixing (as per bloody usual)

Pauly P - proper set... lovely mix of classic house.. .was it you that dropped Mr Terry's Dreams of Santa Anna? Did me nut properly. Good job sir.

Managed to actually meet n greet a number of peeps - either introducing myself (cos I am a bit cheeky like that and just bounce round saying hello - soz, can't help it!) err... gonna try n cover all I met for the first time: Milenko (despite meeting me at start of night, you still managed to forget and go mental when we bumped into each other later in the evening - shout to you my fellow Easterm European broski nut nut) By that time, I think we were both due for a stint in Asda carpark (work it out... what resides in Asda carpark???) hehehe - Pack of Salt n Vinegar Walkers to the first person who gets the joke. Joker... we finally met and had a quick chat... bouncing around again.. soz.

Errr... Pauly P, Woody, TK Tony (you fecking nut nut... love ya... you're head dancing was ace... how you stay upright after that is beyond me) Oh... your mate Derek? Proper bo geezer... more of a nutter than me. Had a quick word with Shabba... Oh, and it was nice of Sunshine to seek me out and say hello. Made me night to think that you had made a point of finding me and having a chat before you left. Bless.

All in all, was the next best Hazy since the Grover n Dreamgirl Birthday bash - was ace hacing room to bounce around in the Attic... some proper moves could be pulled without harm of elbow rubbing or general jostling. Ace. PLus it wasn't too hot... there was even a breeze... pity JoJo demanded the skylight was closed (next time, bring a fleexe ya lightweight softy)

Shout to those of you that gave me little prezzies on the nigth - you know who you are - and you know the favour will be returned as usual - what goes around comes around. Tis the way.

What I'm trying to say is that Hazy is about the music AND very much the people, the community vibe... nay, the extended family vibe. A very very special place indeed.

Didn't get downstairs for more than 30 mins... when I did, I found it to be probably the best downstairs vibe that I have experienced. Not a frown or an elbow dig in sight (unlike Raindance last week, where I had a set-to with some cheeky tw@t on the dnb floor) Don't worry, he got his just desserts. I might look like I wouldn't say boo to a goose... then again, Woody doesn't look like the sort of chap that would nut an opponent on the footie pitch after a dodgy body check/tackle. GWAN SON! Don't let any p!sstaking liberty taker get away with it. I certainly don't.

Back to Grover's for a chill out (yeah right... A chill out? you must be joking). Stayin up through to 6am Monday morning was fun. Those that stayed up enjoying the mashed banter and giggles... you know who you are. Was boss.

Right... I took 170 piccies that weekend, but my new digicam doesn't register anything on the SD card. I have a card reader on order... I will be SOOOOO gutted if the thing is fecked... there were some ace piccies...

(NOT LEAST THE 30 or so PEEPS FOR THE END OF NIGHT GROUP PHOTO IN THE ATTIC... I WAS WELL BUZZING WHEN I TOOK THAT).

Flat tyres aside, I think everyone had a boss weekend I certainly did.

Ah well... I was well and truly blown away this month (as usual!) After some dodgy clubbing experiences in 2004, Hazy has resurrected the true feeling of clubbing for me... old school brothers n sisters.

Well, what a w/e Ive not done a review for a while, so I apologise now for this being rather long (and slightly biased )

After getting pissed as a fart on fri and throwing up in a saucepan (thanks to pauly for looking after me ) I was feeling a little bit worse for wear on sat

After meeting up for a nice meal on saturday to get us in the hazy mood, it was off to hazy

Well, after missing the last one (something which I wont be doing again) I was itching to get to this one, so going down early was ace Cheers to Pauly for driving and BJ and Ange for some quality car chat lol!!!

Noticed it took a while to get busy, but it was quite nice cos there was more room to have a boogie !

Vertigo played an ace set (well what I heard of it) it was like the Vertigo I know and love see moaning at you worked and I kept telling you how ace you were playing (more of the same please )

Spent most of the night upstairs and there was some ace tunes going on up there Dreamgirl played some quality stuff, was top to hear some old electro also what I heard of Mart and Grover was ace too, but then I expect no less

Then the sexy Pauly p was on what with him being a bit nervous and he kept changing his set lol I think you played an absolute belter great choice of first tune you couldnt tell that you were nervous at all your mixing was spot on and all the tunes were proper old skool (well bar a few ) it was right up my street and Im so glad you didnt play it to me before, cos some of them were ace surprises

There was far too many highlights in your set, but some of the best moments for me were Joey (of course), Nitro Deluxe and Santa Anna, The Attic and when Felix came in I was rushing me little boots off!!!! Thank you so much for playing that for me Sorry I kept sitting down at random intervals, but the doings of fri night and my head going a bit west at times made my legs stop working!

Met some fantastic people that I havent met before, Sunshine, what a gorgeous lady you are Ange, you were so funny and get joined on here Stee and Nics and the absolutely f**king hilarious Milenko you were absolutely classic lol but you kept asking me my name all the time and I never did find a mobile number in my pocket lololol Also met a few soulseek lot, its great to put faces to names, Murfso, you were absolutely lol and sorry I couldnt understand what you were saying lol and Brixtonite was ace to finally meet you, even if you wouldnt tell me who you were for ages I wore my hotties just for you and no they dont chaffe, theyre actually really comfortable

Was ace to see loads of the usual osa out, Im not going to mention you all cos this review will go on for ever otherwise lol but youre all ace and make hazy that extra bit special a special mention goes to my darling shooms its been far too long and get your arse to mine asap I didnt see enough of you, but you looked like you were having a ball also was great to have plebhead out again, another one thats been away too long, dont be a stranger again

I have to mention Biggie, cos you made me piss so many times and Im never going to forget you storming over to me, stopping right in front of my face and ordering me to take my top off lololol !!!!! and them apologising afterwards for saying it!!! Dont worry about it, you made me piss myself lololol

Anyway, I hope the sets were recorded, cos I never heard 2 For Joy at all cos I had to be loyal to Pauly and I didnt actually want to go downstairs cos he played so ace I was so proud of you see Mart you know it made sense Oh also Mart thank you for everything, including those tunes that you gave me if you werent already married, Id marry you hee hee, j/k Ruth

firstly hoooooooge apologies for people who have PM'd me & I haven't replied to - my arse hasn't touched the ground recently - been soooooo busy n stressed at work This Hazy was EXACTLY what I needed so thanks to all that made it special for me...

Anyways I was working in Germany last week & only flew back into the UK on Friday night (got back to my gaff 12.30 am on Sat morning.... with a broken rib but that's another story lolol )

Spent best part of Saturday on the train travelling up from Portsmouth to the land of the liver birds (dey do doh don't dey ? ) n was ace to meet up with hazy regulars @ the Grapes for a pre-Hazy bev Vertigo spinnin tunes & we managed to oust the regulars lolol

I love getting to Hazy early doors & see everyone come in & the club gradually fill up & the buzz heightning throughout the night It was quieter in Hazy this month due I guess to the cup final but it didn't detract one iota from a totally buzzin night

Vertigo played a stormer imo & was soooooooooo chuffed he dropped one of my all time faves (Seduction - You're my one n only) so cheers for that proper had me buzzin (lol so much so in fact I caterpillared from the stage to the bar.... with a cracked rib lmao).

Pauly P - what can I say fella ?? You were shite.......

Downstairs 2 for Joy were rockin the place although has to be said the later synth cheese stuff they played wasn't really my cup of tea so was dead glad when Tag took command of the decks for the final hour.... & what an opening - Chuck Roberts pella into Starlight - Numero Uno

Not sure who played SBam - Chica Boom downstairs but it took the roof off (as ever) - proper hazy anthem that
