Holy hell - well that night put GT well and truly number 1 on my favourite club list, I had an Awesome time.

It had been a long week and I was wiped out by the time I got back to Ben's but that didn't stop Santa's Grotto and the fat elf being the highlight of my year! The looks I've been getting when telling my workmates about the night defy belief but the hell with it - I guess you had to be there!

It was great seeing everyone out again, its been months since I've seen you all last but I promise it won't be that long again!

Been quite a while since I've ventured over to GT 'cos Hazy is right on my doorstep, but seeing as I missed Hazy thought I'd get across to see everyone and wasn't disappointed, had a top night both in the club and back at the mash-up.

Picked up SteJ and Dannster from their house and headed over to the club, managed to forget the club was in Huddersfield and headed straight into Halifax town centre first before realising someone had moved the club!

Got to the club just as Rabbitcity's set was ending sorry to have missed it! Most peeps were already in there, nice to see Pixie after so long (over a year?) and Pauly P too

Thought there was an excellent variety of music in there from everyone I heard - Sully, Ben, Cano & Eddie, you seemed to have worked it out between you to cover a lot of different styles and as Ben mentioned nothing got played twice, which is always better than when people are turning up just before their set starts having listened to nothing else anyone has played and bangs out the same as the previous

Had a good old stomp throughout the night, mainly around the stage at the front with the odd little mission elsewhere, thought there was a good number of peeps in there, seemed a little quiet at first but filled up pretty quickly & there was a better percentage of openly buzzin & friendly faces than last time I came across (apart from the sudden western saloon style brawl erupting at one point, but it was dealt with quickly which is all you can do)

Was only planning on heading back to Manchester, having a couple of drinks and then trying to get my head down afterwards, but had to go and see the Santa's Grotto. Top marks to Ben, Superdan & Gaz for that - it was absolutely hilarious Led down the stairs by the elf and sat on santa's knee "my, you're a big fella!", pose for the photo and pick a nicely wrapped present from his bulging sack. Went for a long thin shaped present seeing as it the same shape as me & was delighted with a rifle which made firing noises when you pulled the trigger. Was going to saw the barrels in half for a bit more street cred, but couldnt find a hacksaw.
Was funny as fek watching one after another peeps being led down and then coming back up all smiles to see what they'd got.

I did take a camera, but once again it stayed in my pocket all night, think I got one of the grotto and of santa and the elf tho so I'll up them later in the week.

Superb night all round that one so big thanks to .............

Birthday boy Retro hope you had a good 'un - also good to see Danny / Italian Style / Vicki & Biggster again - its been a while. Cheers for the message about the blood on the car! Didn't realise how much there was 'till I got home on sunday & realised it looked like I'd knocked someone over.

Flange & RiskyLady - top couple, cheers for showing us the way to Ben's - did you see the taxi nearly take us out at the lights tho??

Sweet & Shabba - sorry never said goodbye at the end, didn't realise you were going straight home.

MC Maddox - good luck with getting the car - an EVO8 is the only thing thats given me a hiding, I'll have to upgrade to a Noble now!

Well Superdan and HikkyB . . . looks like we pulled off one of the finest mash ups to date , with are Goodtime Grotto !! complete with thin santa & fat elf !! lol . . . . . was worth all the effort and work that was put into it . to see everyone buzzin with the suprise !! and 2 read all the above comments . . . was one of my best if not the best wkd of the yr fer me . . gettin to put on a top wkd ( a full night out followed by a top mash up !! ) for all you guys !!!

Was a very good GT indeed! Thanks to Ben & Krew for putting on such a good night - was a bit different with the Club Clasique sets as well - I really enjoyed CANO's set

We only nipped back to Bens for a short while - missed the Grotto - but sounds well funny!

What a mint night!!!!!!!

The best night i've been to in ages!!!! The music was absolutely first class, I loved the variation (should do it more often at nights!!!!!) Every1 had a distinct style and as ben said no two choons the same!I loved all the sets but as I love nu skool breaks, it has to be sully's set!Just lovin the breaks maaaaan!but none of the music was predictable or cheesy!!!Well good!!!!!

As for the mash-up, fuckin quality, I loved the effort the Boys put in, true Buzzards! My prezzie was a skipping rope that "supposedly" blows bubbles. I left it at your gaf benj.

Every1 at the masha was top, (random guy was even funny when he fell asleep under the table and looked like a cod fish!!!!) Every1 made use of their toys and it was very entertaining.

It was lovely to see some peeps that i've not seen 4 ages, tall Paul and Mr and Mrs Flange) TP, you were on the kitchen floor alot and I'd like to know how the hair clip stayed in your hair!!!!!!!!

It was also nice to meet some new faces, the Kitcher bro's(cool as fuck) and some of retro's mates (cant remember your names but it was nice to meet you,)

lol, forgot about that, it stayed in pretty well considering I'd just had a No.2 shave although it did require a couple of adjustments and move around the head throughout the night, in fact I still had it in for half the drive home until I thought "what the feks that on my head" when I looked in the rear view mirror - had a blue hair extension and comb in there for most of the night too, but think Vee inherited them.

got to agree that it was a quality night - got there early on and caught most of andy pendle's set, some quality italio there mate.....

top top sets from lee kelly (random city) and the cano - it's top notch to know that Club Classique has quality Resident DJ's associated with it, cheers guys......

wasnt sure how my set would go down tbh as all the other guys were spinnin italio / piano type stuff - once the 1st tune went on though i knew the good times crowd were appreciative of the breakz and harder type stuff and i really enjoyed my time up behind the decks - big big shout to mc maddox as well as he upped the crowd just right

good to see the jammer, sweet, pauly p, shabba and danny c in gt as well.....

on to the mash up then which has gotta be one of me best for a long time - still gettin to grips with who was there as i dont remember many faces, just incidents, events and episodes of complete randomity and irrelevance........

managed to get meself into slim santas grotto, guided by the fat elf, and come away with some commandos combat binoculars - top one for that guys, it went down a treat....

came into contact with the party crasher and nearly choked laughin when k-t pointed out that his top was in fact more salmon than pink - pmsl at that one. i took his poppers for a sniff and brought him back a poppers bong which sent him west slightly lol......

big shout to everyone else at bens - ben (cheers for havin us matey), tall paul, tigger (cheers for the liftage back to bens mate), liquid e, miss c, jftb (cheers for the vodka), s-j, ow doo, gaz, superdan, dannster, ste hux, kitcher bros, little sam, va, veee, lozzie, random, k-t, canoe, jim - apologies if i've missed anyone, keep gettin quick flashes of rememberance but not sure if they actually happened lol.....

major thanks to s-j for the lift back to veee's - what was supposed to be a few drinks and a kip turned into a 2 day vodka sess with veee - joined later by lozzie, va and sam - cheers to veee and lozzie for havin us

last but not least, cheers to ben and mick (good to finally meet you mick mate) and all the good times crew for havin the club classique guys across - look forward to hopefully playin there again in 2005
