Where the small flight of steps are opposite the bar that take you up to the 'OSA area' there is a ledge. For sometime during Andy Carroll's set I stood on that ledge, next to Shooms and Miss Tickle who were stood on the sofas.

In no club since prob about '91 have I seen people:

1. Dance on tables, chairs, sofas, ledges, anything they can stand on basically and not give a s**t or feel self conscious.

2. Shake hands with and grin madly at those people dancing up there

and

3. Have a (very) broad shouldered and tough looking fella offer to help you down - practically lift me off the ledge, put me on the stairs THEN warn me to watch my step as its "a bit slippy" where people have spilt drinks and smiles like a cheshire cat and gives a massive hug...

Yeah there were a few scallys, but ffs, it's a dance club, there's gonna be a few scallys, they come with the music

Thing is, that's the great thing about a good "rave". People who go are from all walks of life, but once they step into the club and feel the music, everyone becomes equal. There's no hierachy or class division, just a collective of people who make up one thing, the atmosphere. And i thought it was great

Big shout to everyone who turned up for the Quad reunion.... the club was absolutely jammed packed.

I spent the first hour or so between floors listening to Grover and Mart dowstairs and Tag (Mr T - I aint getting on no plane fool) upstairs. Then I went on upstairs and managed to blow the bass playing Hyprsonic Dance Tones - apologies for this as it was a bit of a bummer for everyone else who went on and for the Attic crew - we gonna need some bigger speakers upstairs

Mouse went on after me and played the mix of the night - Ladies with an attitude and The Calling - In Sync... I loved it that much I ran over and was that excited when she finished the mix I nearly took the needle off the record for her .... sorry mate but it was superb

Then I heard some of Plutes set upstairs and went down to listen to Andy Carrol - omg what a man.... anyoen who thougt the quad was just full of piano heads got the full understanding of what exactly was played in there.... someclassics like Da Posse - Its My Life, Rhythim Is Rhythim - Nude Photo, West Bam - Monkey See Monkey Do.... I could go on but the tune of the night played by Andy was Strings Of Life..... that tune has never lost its edge and it was amazing to see from the stage hands in the air people on ledges and chairs going absolutely mad.

Then went backup stairs to find Mr T playing a hardcord set which was going down a storm... good on ya mate

Big thankyou for all the shouts about my set on here .... was only a shame the sound system went .... marchweil - thanks for what you said when I finished my set... made me beem.

Great that everyone from PR turned up and the photos will be up soon.... Notorious W.I.G. was on from as usual

Last but not least - the after party ...... which I believe is still going on.... thanks for teabags, the crisps and the laugh.... topped off a boss weekend.

Regarding the attitude that people felt in the club.... I didnt see any attitude in there ... sometimes depends on how you handle people who are having a buzz... a smile usually does the trick

well what a night - absolutely quality till half three but hey these things happen - bit of hammering, bit of paint she'll be fine!!!! lol

proper enjoyed the night - one of my best yet but missed the large proportion of the crew minxy, shabba, joker, andy, etc etc etc you all know who you are!!!

good to see few new faces pauly p, marchwheil (god we talked some wierd stuff at jonny's lol interesting none the less!! hehehehe), blue jammer, miss tickle - good to see you all!!!

and good to see the usuals as well dannts, ste H (glad you didn't have to resort to my boot on way home fella - that wouldn't have been comfy!!!! hehehehe) his cousin (forgot your name again - sorry) s-j, ben, etc etc etc

and final big up to mart, grover and the crew for an toppest top drawer of a night yet again!!!

what a belting night yet again just keeps getting better,thanks to everyone for your kind comments even though my mixin was a bit rough at times.Big shout to the usuals Ste,annie,mick,shaz,mart,ruth,elvis,tk tonny,shooms(top bloke),Steh(didnt even know you were there mate,sorry),little col,big col,ange,cal alex,ped who never came,shanine,paul,Joe,jo,Untoe(and your missus),Marchwiel,bluejammer,SJ,woody,dannster,mad matty,sweet,Jane from downstairs,some girl from Berlin who i was chating to(anyone know who she was),hello to tall paul even though you wrent there(everyone missed ya mate) .Hello to the pr guys,mart,silky and fusion..nice meeting you guys and hello to any one else i missed,highlight of the nightfor me personally was annie and mouses back to back set,quality tunes and quality mixin from the pair of you! .Didnt get to see Mikes set or andy Carrols but i was not disappointed at what the upstairs was delivering,shame about the sound though!Hope everyone recovered okay and see you all soon,

well that was a mad un to say the least didnt think it was the best hazy i'd been to but some of the tunes were wicked, never seen a place erupt so much when movin on was dropped early on, and out of control nearly melted me shortly afterwards . did notice a bit more "attitude" but maybe i was slightly para being one of 10 mancs in 400 scousers lol. was a bit too busy for my liking and the usually balanced hazycrowd was far more lads than laydees, apart from that from what i remember anyway, job well done The PA was amazing, even surpassed ratpack at the dry bar the other week, was absolutely stunned at how mint it was live!! the cymbals were like dump-valves on a cossie, and the hahahahahaha-hazydays was the icing on hte cake wikked as fook

top top surprise to see big al making a sneaky appearance, the oldskool tonksis flat possee havin it like old days big thanks to miss drive us about maddox would be reet stuck with out ya luv , bluey for the mind bendingness , sweet lol, danny for that token act of kindness in the car park, that was like THE most needed thing in the world right then good to meet Pauly finally, danst, stevie, karl JK, MM, marchwiel, grad n mizzy, cheers for lookin after me at various intervals lol
nice to meet judderz n crew ( no smoking on petrol station forecourts lol )
and last but not least all the hazy crew who make it what it is.
