for anyone travelling by car the easiest way is to get on the mancunian way at the end of the m602 and to keep in the left hand lane. You need to come off on to the very sharp spiral ramp (i think its signposted universities) and follow it to the bottom and bear left back under the manky way. At the first traffic lights you need to turn right. Carry straight on until you see dominoes pizza on the corner and turn left and voila there you are it is that simple

Alternatively if you end up like mick always does on oxford road if you've hit the universities on the left then youve gone way too far. If you pass the GMR radio studios on the right then youve gone too far the other way. The easiest things to spot are abduls kebab shop on the corner and the commonwealth swimmingpool. Scubars inbetween the two. If you pass the swimmingpool on the left, you just have to keep turning left to get to scubar. left at the lights, to the bottom, left at the lights, left at the next lights then left into york street.
