Biog:
My first exposure to any type of dance music was back in 1987/88 when I obtained some cassette compilations of Acid House and Hip Hop when I was 11/12....artists like Bomb the Bass, Jolly Roger, this then evolved into listening to early nineties records at a mates house, tunes like Dr. Baker "KAOS", Liasons D " He chilled out...TNT "Piano Please"
Then obtained my first mix tape which was a Hacienda tape, all the early sasha stuff, the tape collection grew from there, with stuff from Ark, Phobia, SOAK, Fantazia......

I didn't actually start going clubbing until 1994 which was at Zone in Blackpool, Angels @ Burnley, Life @ Bowlers.........happy days !!!

After seeing friends mixing at parties etc. I started learning to mix in 1996 where my curiosity just got the better of me.....I used to just like the tunes, but then I thought I can do this....so slowy learnt to beatmatch, not easy once a week at ure mates for a couple of hours at a time.....but eventually got the jist of it.
Then in 2000 when I finally got the premises suitable for some decks (nice attic !) I obtained some 1210's and all the rest of the gear and started buying tunes.
Six years later and I have over 1800 tunes and a couple of credit cards....:0)

My favourite style has and always will be Italian House, pre 1994 although I love the Zone synth style and have a decent collection, I am a sucker for those old cheeky basslines, catchy piano's and screaming vocals.....

Other styles I like to play are mid to late nineties house, oldskool hardcore, bit of hard house, and some upbeat funk and (dirty) techie house.

I've only played out a few times, mostly at friends parties and local setups, but have played @ Timeless Manchester when I won a competition for the last hour set.
