Hi Claire,

Sorry for joining in on your thread so late on!.

I'm Phil, (bit obvious from the name thing that!), I'm 29, (30 very soon!)

Started clubbing in 1991, went to the Leeds Warehouse, Arks, Phobias, Organiks, The Gallery (where I was a regular from Bliss 91 / June 94), also frequented the Orbit in Ossett, Morley, and of course Bowlers when me and the gang felt like a special treat out in the car!.

Also went to a few other clubs, namely Pleasuredrome in Bolton, and a couple of others which I can't remember right now (memory fails me, I am knocking on now y'see!!).

Stopped clubbing in 96, when I became bored with the scene / prices and pretentious people. Never lost my love for the music, but since then it's been a case of the old tapes n' stuff, with a developing love for hard house (Tinrib anyone?!) which has meant a few visits to Hard House / Techno events like Hypahektik (RIP!) in Leeds etc.

However, after discovering this forum, and the folks/events ran by the people on here, I've gotten right back into the old-skool scene again, and it's great to know that it's thriving!!.

I can honestly say that the gang on here are a sound bunch, and even better in person!, so come on, get yourself along to one of the events (Goodtimes comes highly recommended y'know, and if you're well behaved, I may even get you a drink in!!)...

Well, guess that's my rant over with!....

Hope to see you at GT's soon,

Phil

Lol. You're prolly best of steering clear of him than....especially if he invites you for some 'round the corner action' !!!!! (I'll let Clare W explain!!) :p

If you used to go to Bowlers a lot then you might know quite a few of us on here. What sort of era were you going there and where are you from originally?
