It's A Wonderful Life - now available in colour

Ordered this from Amazon at the weekend and it's landed today Tested it out and it looks like a Disney digital animated version, it just isn't quite right to those of us that love the original, but at least the kids that have an aversion to b&w will watch it now and it is still watchable for us older peeps

The black and white version is on there too and sadly it's still the old-style-tv 3:4 instead of widescreen, but it looks better than ever on blu-ray

I'm sure I spotted a blu ray out for it n all... didn't check if it was colour or b/w....

TBH part of the charm for it IS the fact it's in b/w

This isn't animated either Dan, but the digital processes they've used to achieve the colour makes it look like a recent digital animated film (such as the new Disney film - A Christmas Carol)

Gotta agree Shooms that it doesn't matter that it's black and white as the story is so good

What a conicidence, we watched this last night. Me for the 60th time, Anne had never seen it. We both enjoyed it thoroughly.

Great story. Great acting. Soundtrack could do with some Hybrid though

Totally agree.

Also never quite understood why as soon as some people see a film is in Black and White they switch it off?

Just because it is black and white makes no difference to the quality of the acting and story. Just because a film is colour does not mean it will be good either.

Books are black and white and folk read them.
