Angry grrr DAMN COMPUTERS!!!

ffs a cpl o days ago my comp decided itd lose its 30Gb D: drive
dunno where it went but it apparently didnt exist anymore
then it wudnt boot up off C:
then it eventually gave up today and died
grrr
so ive spent the best part of the day re-installing
fuck ive lost pure loads of stuff

good job i burnt my oldskool directory to a CD aint it, with audiogalaxy down n all :p :p :p

feck m8 gutting that init
need more than a cd if that happened tio me think im jus gonna buy another hard drive and make a back up to that or invest in a dvd burner

cant be arsed burning 4600 tunes to cd feck that


got a great deal of em on cd around and about but would losse hundreds if that happend to me right now

my CD drive worked to install wind0ze but it wont work in it ffs

so i cant even put my tunes bk on!!

this recently happened to me..forunately i had two hard disks and it was possible to swap them around, just meant installing windows on the 2nd hard disk, and then all me programmes but at least i didn't lose any data. although the original hard drive wouldn't boot it shows up fine as the new slave.

will be taking images of the drive frequently now, never bothered with any kind of back up before.

having said that was kinda nice to start from scratch again, old pc was full of junk..

i copied my MP3 in DOS mode, without thinkin bout the fact u can only have filenames 8 chars long GRRRR
so my tunes are all
CONTROL_.MP3
ARTEMISI_.MP3
BROTHERS.MP3
and also .MP3 aint right, it shud be .mp3 ffs
so i gotta rename em all
good job i no what theyre called else id have to flood the ID section :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p

*** Note to anyone and everyone - get a program called GHOST
backs up ur whole comp to a CD ***
ive just been too lazy to use it, but now i got a clean install and my tunes bk on i think i will
