Things to do before you die

Is there something special that you really want to do and are determined to do it one day?

I would love to go cage diving with Great White Sharks. I'd be absolutely petrified before hand like but I just think it would be such an amazing experience. I'm fascinated by sharks, especially Great Whites, I think they are such interesting creatures.

So how about you guys, is there anything that you'd love to experience or have some of you already done so?

I've done loads of things that i've wanted to before I die, so Í feel lucky in that respect

Still got a few things to do though and much of it involves travel, so i'm working on it and hoping to get the Grand Canyon and white water rafting done on my next trip. 2 in 1 as maybe white water rafting through part of the Grand Canyon

Still on my list is:

More travel, inc - New Zealand (inc the Awesome Foursome), Australia, Asia, Peru and the Inca trails, Climb Kilimanjaro, visit Victoria Falls, North and South Poles, Backcountry Heliboarding in Russia.

all of which are pipe dreams as ive no money but we have to have dreams and aspirations!!!

I wanna do this really bad.
It just sounds like it'd be amazing although the bit about flying with someone else does sound a bit gay like

Also want to spend time in Russia. Properly I mean, not just a holiday.
Learn the lingo & spend some real time there. St. Petersburg being top of the list.
Same with Italy. Been a few times on business trips to places like Milan, Rome & Turin, but would love to spend like a year there, learn to speak the language and soak the place up properly.

Yeah there's a lot of places I'd really like to see, New York and Vegas as I've mentioned before are top of the list (when I can afford to do it properly). Would also love to see more of Europe, particularly Eastern Europe as I thought Prague was amazing. I would also love to go to Vietnam, it seems like such an interesting place.

Yeah I'd like to learn another language, either Italien or Spanish and spend some time in either one of those countries and really get to grips with another culture, it would be such an amazing experience. I did learn a bit about Spanish and Italien history and culture when I did European Crime Fiction for my MA. Obviously from a literary perspective but it was something that really interested me. I'm gutted I didn't continue with French and German as I was quite good with languages, I could always go back to them I suppose.

I know what you mean. I've thought seriously about enrolling for night classes to learn Russian. Big commitment though cos it's hard, with having to learn the Cyrillic alphabet and shizzle. With the ker-ayzee hours I work I'm not sure I'd be able to put the necessary time in.

Think all of my ambitions are football related:

Next season I'm gonna go to the Bernebeu to watch Real Madrid and do the tour of the ground, I've been a big Madird for for about 5 years now and watch every game they play on sky

Go to Milan and see either AC or Inter, I've always liked the italian football culture since I was 10 years old and would love to go to Milan

Go to a foreign country to see England in a World Cup / Euro competition, that would probably be my ultimate holiday, even just watchin England abroad in a qualifier would do me

Think my biggest want to do isnt really an acheivable task but to see the earth from outer space would be the top of my list!

They'll be doin them 5 hour trips into space soon, costs about 5 grand like but it'll be a nice view
