Todays pleasing purchase

I got a plasma ball today

I dont care if its geeky / sad/ very 80's / whatever, I've wanted one for ages, and i'm ridiculously pleased with it and keep laughing like Mutley when I look at it I love it

Its currently (no pun intended) on top of the speaker near the decks and it even pulses its lightning-y thingys (technical term) along to the music , lol

They intruige me, how they work etc... Despite allegedly being a science geek maybe I should have paid better attention in Physics :dunce:

I'm sure the novelty will wear off quickly but what the heck

Is a plasma ball one of those things where the lightning things moves towards your fingers when you touch it and stuff? If so I think they're ace! Not seen them about for a while though

I bought myself a hand blender for under 4 quid @ Teskies

I'm fascinated by the whirring blade... I may have no fingers left by Friday...

I'm the kind of person who pokes pencils / fingers into fans...
