Your oppinion on the "C" word...

Ive noticed of late, that the word **** is being used far more frequently...and other than older people (like ur mum and dada and stuff) it's ok (not always great though).

It's really the last swear word to be really taboo, where will we go from here??? Invent some more? Or just stop swearing as it doesn't work any more???

Also, what do blokes think of girls saying it? Is it a blokey word or what?

Answers on a.....................

Its funny cos me and a few mates were discussing what we thought the most offensive word to call someone would be. We decided that cnut was not really the most strong word to use if you were talking disrespectfully about someone as these days people 'say ahh you daft cnut' is a jokey way. We actually decided that calling someone a wanker (although all men and women do it) is a stronger insult as in 'hes a fucking wanker him' as an example

There was a programme on Channel 4 a few months back saying a similar thing.

It used to be the only word they banned... in the end the programme came to the conclusion that it aint deemed to be as bad/offensive these days -

Words such as Nigger, Paki etc are now considered to be far worse

REALLY?

All this time I thought "wanker" was all in fun. Never thought it to be offensive. Glad I read this. I can see me calling everyone a "wankahhh!" in jest, all the while everyone is wanting to slap a beeotch.

Nigger, same here...it's highly offensive. Personally, I would never use it; no matter how angry or emotional I become.

Paki...wasn't 100% sure on that one til the other day. To me, it's odd that it's considered offensive as the word itself is part of the nationality.

and with c nt, i think that along the lines or tw t - female body part.

One of my pet hates is the word CNUT. It really repulses me There is just something so low about it.

It's one of my favourite words although I hate it when others say it.

Double standards.
