Maximes Rip

The Legendary Club Looks Like Its Gona Be Shuttin Down Soon As It Cant Get More Than 20 People On A Sat Night,theres More Staff Than There Is Clubbers,
Had Some Of The Best Nights Of My Life In That Place Many Of Them Old Skool Nights Wat Got It Famouse,rip

Am surprised like , thought it was still a busy club with the bounce stuff going on there

had a few top nights there, the boxing day allnighters come to mind

i remember my dad used to work there as a doorman in the early 90's thats what kinda kicked my raving days off

Maximes and Bowlers were the 2 clubs that got me into this music would be a damm shame to see it go the same way as Bowlers

tony concannon . he used to run a boxing club were he used to teach pete midgley boxing . pete was or still is the manger of maximes it was him what asked my dad to work there with him being a boxer he new he could handle im self abit

Haven't been there since 91, well I never looked back really so wont miss it like some will.

Be ashame to see it go though as I have some good memories in the place, I just never saw it as being a great club like the others I went to at the time.
