Thinking of rescuing a lil poochy

I keep my eye on the rescue centres regularly and ive seen this lil fella today and im really feeling i want to give him a home poor little mite

the only worry i have is being out at work during the day - but then again i know others who have dogs and go to work and i do think the little fella would still be better off here than stuck in a cage

what do you folks think cus im seriously falling for this lil un but dont want to make a rash decision

Bleakholt Animal Rescue

just look at him - how could anyone not love that breaks my heart to see them in places like this, i dont know the lil fellas background or whether he has been mistreated or just just abandoned but he looks a lovable little sort

debs gfor it!!!

youve had a dog before so whats stopping you now???

im a big time animal lover and try n help animals in distress and in homes etc.....

if you get him he will be innoculated and everything no doubt and all he will probs need is som e 1 on 1 love and attention to make him feel wanted again

plus they will probs only ask for a donation to cover vets fee's etc.....and that will go towards maybe helping yet another lil pooch

if i can i drop off tins/bags of food and old blankets n towels when im having a sort out and they really appreciate it

He looks ace! I'm a sucker for dogs, and have two myself so I'm bound to say go for it. He's a Jack Russell cross though, which means he'll be intelligent and pretty energetic - so if you leave him alone in the house all day he'll get bored and 'inventive'. If you're not houseproud and don't worry about things being chewed then you'll be ok.

What's it like where you live? Could you get him a flap so he can go outside & run around when you're not there?

i can move the records that aint on a shelf so thats not too bad

my main concern was wether its cruel for him to be left whilst at work so to speak, but then i tell myself it can be any worse than being stuck in a place like that with no individual attention

Of course the lil JR will be miles better off with you than where he is now. I reckon he'll definitely chew though. If you can cope with that, then fill yer boots!

On a slightly different note, what about cats?
Can be left alone no bother and just as many needing homes as dogs.

im highly allergic to cats and tbh i dont get the same from a cat as i do a dog

i think ill speak with them tomorrow n see what they can tell me, ive has a few dogs in my lifetime and none have been chewers of furniature suppose if he had plenty of toys n bones he may be ok, the centre should be able to inform me of his pesonality traits i spose
