Missing Music Files...

Anybody else had files go missing off their hard drive??

Went to play a couple of tracks that I ripped ages ago, but they've gone!!!

Luckily I've got the vinyl, but just made me wonder what else has gone missing!

Been meaning to buy an external HD for ages, but this has just made my mind up...

Yeah, tried Search mate...

I had 9 or 10 tracks off one label in a sub folder in My Music..

The folder is still there, but it's empty!!

ive had folders that tracks have vanished from, usually from a ripped cd, the tracks are still on my harddrive but my pc seems to move tracks to another folder sometimes on its own its something to do with when im online my pc i think.

eg, future sound of uk cds, not 100% which one it is, but 1 of the cds from volume 1, when ripped the songs are named incorrect, and happen to be the track names off volume 2 and when i rip volume 2 to its own folder, after a few days about 4 of the tracks get moved automatically into a new folder really annoying.
