New Years firework display

Funchal city of the Madeira Island has achieved to register a Guinness World Record with its pyrotechnic exhibition, that involved 17 tons of fireworks ... that caused 660,300 detonations ... 8,000 explosions per minute ... over an area of 6 km by 2.7 km wide ... more than 8 minutes long.

wow i would have loved to have been there! how fantastic!! system overload!
esp as i am one of those very annoying peeps at the fireworks display who cant help but go 'ooooooooh arrrrrrrrrr awwwwwwwwwwwwww ohhhhhhhhh awwwww rrrrrrrrrrr ohhhhhhhhh oooooooooooooh' lol lol sorry i just cant help it!!
