An introduction

Hi there,

Thought I'd start off with an introduction, my name is Phil, I'm 28, I live in Leeds (UK), it's the first time I've been to this site. Really nice to see that there are so many other "old skool" fans out there, I thought I was the only one!.

I started clubbing in March 1991 with my bezzy mate at the time, this soon grew to a large number of us, we went to loads of events in and around the area. My personal faves were Ark, Phobia, Kaos, Warehouse (Leeds), and the Gallery where we were regulars (practically week in, week out!). When we weren't in Leeds, we often headed for Pleasuredrome (Bolton) before it moved to Bowlers and became "Life" or "the Orbit" (again in Leeds). Other major events we attended included Dreamscape, Perception, and Rezerection.

I have a very large selection of tapes, (but at the moment they're all boxed up), I have quite a few MP3's of my fave tracks too. I do have a number of tracks that I'm after, so perhaps someone would be able to assist with Track ID's?...

Oh well, that's my rant over with, I look forward to chatting to some of you about the "old days".

P

Hiya,

Well, it's nice to be here!. Another Leedser?!, why how many of *us* are there?...

I don't think you've got anything to worry about this season, I reckon we'll struggle to be in the top ten, especially if Rio goes!. Just realised that it still hurts to talk about football after we departed from the World Cup yesterday.

I'll certainly try to get some messages sent in!.

Deffo fancy the Cornmill re-union, but it depends if I can get a "pass out" from my g/f, been spending quite a lot of time with mates during the W/C campaign, and she's not into the scene at all. I'll see what I can do!.

Hi,

Thanks, wow!, you used to DJ at the Warehouse?! (Phil pays homage!). I was more of a Gallery resident, but the Warehouse rocked.

To this day I didn't twig about the Kaos / Soak thing!. How bad is that?!. What a dummy I am!.

Yeah, Leeds fan, (although I ain't holdin much hope for this season!).

Dream FM?, of course!. DJ Carl, Kamaro, great station that!.
