| anyone know anything about allergies... occasionally (last night and mildly right now) I get these weird symptoms. tongue feels burnt (like from hot pizza or tea) and swollen. lips can be itchy. But the predominant symptom is a fine line between aching/numbness is my cheeks around the area of my cheek bone. I thought it must be food but someone told me it could be washing liquid or washing up liquid etc. Its quite distressing so any advice would be gratefully recieved

| Yeah sounds like its probably something you've eaten, try taking an antihistamine for now and then see if you can get an allegy test. Although when I went to the doctors to try and get one they told me there was too many things to test for so I had to keep a food diary and see what seemed to be affecting me, which made no sense at all, as if I knew that I'd stop eating it! I think other places do them too though, like herbal remedy centres and alternative medicine places but you'd obviously have to pay. Some say they give you a free consultation but quite often if you read the small print it says thats only if you sign up to a course of medicine with them which can be expensive so you'd probably have to shop around a bit.

| On a serious note, have you bought any new furniture lately ? Sounds to me like you are getting intoxicated by fumes rather than a straight forward allergy. -Myk-
