Paul Parker was on the radio the other day saying it might do England a favour to get knocked out so that they can assess everything that is wrong with our game. He had a point.

We all know we can play better than we have - especially in the competitions, but anyway they've given us another chance now and I really hope we take it

I don't think getting knocked out of a competion would change anything in our game to be honest as the FA is basically a grown up boys club, it's not set up for the greater good of the game

unbleivable eh. The scots will be proper pissed off, yesterday afternoon it was all about whether they'd get through, and that england was a pile of shit (which they are), then come 9pm last nite they were out on their arses and we only need a draw. funny old game etc

but if we do go through it only disguises how shit a job McLaren is doing. Its not as though he's had to start again with new players etc from what Sven had, he's had all the same squad at his disposal, but with Sven they would have sailed through. All McLarens done is fuck around and make us shit(ter).
