Just a polite request.........

Is there any chance of u two making yer sigs smaller in width as everytime u poist I have to scroll across the screen? I know I'm lazy but it woudl really help if you could change em !!

Hang on - mine is only 100 pixels wider than yours when you shrink the browser and fits into an 800x600 with no problems as i designed it! What bloody resolution are you running?

Why have you editted what you wrote?

I'm only asking babes cos the picture goes off my screen & I'm not loading up from a PDA but my works computer.

I dont mind doing it Pixie me dear, unless you can alter your computer. The only prob is...I dont now how to!!!!! so I will need some help!

OK Pix - time for a Tigger tutorial....

It would appear that your 'puter at work is set at a resolution of 640x480 - including you in the 'less than 1% of computer users' statistic that webmasters dread!

Quite how you can do any work on such a low resolution is beyond me so follow the steps below for salvation:

1. On the desktop (what you see when you have no windows open) 'right click' the mouse and select 'Properties'.

2. Choose the 'Settings' tab at the top of the box that opens.

3. Drag the slider in the little box that say's 'screen area' to either '800 by 600 pixels' or '1024 by 768 pixels' and click OK.

4. Click OK when it beeps and throws up a box.

5. Click 'keep settings' when the screen redraws itself to keep that setup.

You'll probably want to try both settings to choose one you like but with your surgically enhanced ocular organs (better eyes) you'll probably like 1024 x 768 better.

(You don't want to know what I edited out previously 'cos otherwise I wouldn't have edited it out! - Suffice to say I've been walking on the dark side for a while now and it doesn't take much to wind me up - which is why I'm also gonna be avoiding GT and the like for the forseable future)

Thank you for the tutorial Tigger & I will try to follow the things you've written but our IT dept restict us changing loads of the settings on our PC's (poss why the sigs look odd on my pc).

What I'm not sure about is what on earth I'd written to wind you up?????? I asked the question in good faith & to find an answer to it. I dont' think I was in any way offensive but if you have a problem with what I wrote then please PM me so we can sort it out.
