Tom and me went to Prague for my birthday back in July and absolutly loved it It was definately one of the best holidays we've ever had, 4 days just wasn't enough. We spent all day walking round the city and taking in the sights as there's just so much too see and do. Stopped off at loads of different restaurants, cafes and bars along the way and sampled such a variety of food and drinks. A fave of ours was Becherovka, which is a herbal short that you have after meals, it's supposed to aid digestion but after a few it certainly hampers your vision!
We went on a couple of boat trips throughout the stay and really enjoyed them. We were gutted that we missed the Jazz Boat which runs of an evening on certain nights of the week.
Did you go to Prague Castle and the cathedral? We spent quite a lot of time there as it was such a fascinating place, the cathedral is one of the most amazing buildings I've ever seen. We climbed the stairs to the top of the south tower which was exhausting and really stuffy as you walk up the cramped spiral staircase but defintaely worth it when you get to the top.
I was feeling brave that day and even held a Harris Hawk in the royal gardens.
I could keep talking about Prague all day, we had such a great time and are definately going to go back next year. I would most definately recomend anyone to go Glad you enjoyed too

Cheers all

Brought a few bottles of that Becherovka back Kate, but haven't tried it yet.

The gift shops were closed at the airport, so had to make do with something from duty free so bought the Czech nation drink back as pressies

Might try a shot or 2 after i've finished this Toblerone (also from duty free)
