If you ever go to North Yorkshire. . .try Thomas's

Excellent Baker, like Greggs .....but good!

There are about six in york. pasties are good. . . .. but the real jewel in their crown is the Yorkshire Curd.

If you have never had one . . . .. Have one! make sure it's warm, not hot. . warm.

This is truely a regional food product that deserves praise and in fact does win many awards.

Its a pastry tart with cheese curd, egg, milk, cinnemon, butter, nutmeg and currents which is baked.

They do a big one or small individuals.

It's off the scale . . . honest! I'm very proud of this Yorkshire dish!

here is the best picture I could find!

Who knows mate. I did go to a nice bakers in St helens on the High street as you walk up from Tesco roundabout. Small place on the left before you join the main street opposite some Cash converters type place?

That was good.

Those Yorkshire Curds are worth driving to York for though!

No Mate it was an independent, I know Sayers when I see it!

It was not Cash convertors, but a shop like that. Come across from Tescos roundabout and the up a street that goes up hill lined with shops. It's near the top on the left. At the top of that street the main shopping street cuts it.

Nice bakers!
