Doggie chewin update!!!!!!

Took my little princess to the vets tonight and she has ear infection, he also told me that she is having a phantom pregnancy and this could be the reason that she's chewed the side off me fuckin bed just to nest to have her imaginary pups.
Then because she's was cruely treated before we got her he suggested i take her to a fuckin shrink lol oh my fuckin god
my dogs a nut case.
anymore of this ill have to go the quack. lol

What breed is your dog & how old is she??

If she's a pup then there's probably nowt you can do. As PW says, she'll grow out of it.

Dont' forget dogs can't speak so they show their displeasure in other ways.... she could be bored if you're both at work all day & she's on her own. Can one of you go home @ lunch to see her at all?

OR if it's to do with the phantom preggers...... the vet is right, she could be 'welping' (dog term for labour) in which case, as soon as she thinks she's had the pups she'll be ok again.
If it is a phantom preggers tho, she will baloon up as if she's reayll pregnant & will scrat up newspapers etc & pant a lot (just as if she's really going to give birth). If it is a pahantom pregnancy, at the time she thinks she's given birth, buy her a new teddy or toy to cuddle as she will think she's actually given birth & mentally will want something to look after like a littler of pups.

My mum breeds Labradors & we had one that was phone to phantom pregnancies....... it was dead funny to watch her but psychologically I think it's quite hard for them cos you can't explain whjat's happening & they think it's all real. (poor dog).

She's a staff cross pix
i dont think Its to do with her being lonely we have another dog loads of toys and there never left for more that 4 hours max.
lol she was curled up under the bed for the whole night last night and when i awoke she has had her imaginary pups 6 in total

Free phantom pups to good home

Poor thing I hope she gets well soon, all joking aside I no they cost alot of money with bills and things they chew but they should grow out of it, she is going through alot at the moment. I have asked about and i no alot of people dont agree but you can buy a soft muzzle causes no harm to the dog lets them open there mouth enough to drink but not enough to chew, maybe its worth a try. As i no from experience the cost does get alot to replace things even though ye love em. I hope she settles down soon guys.
