Two distant cousins raced you may know them in Gethyn and Charlie Shooter, i never took it as seriously but it remains an important and memorable era of childhood. I started off with a Raleigh Burner,then a Super Tuff Burner and eventually settling on a Mongoose Supergoose with blue Skyways.

Them were the days and still got at least one scar to show from it

I never had one, but i have a scar from being on the stunt pegs (the tyre rubbed on my leg). My son has just bought a Haro bmx with his birthday money, apparently they are in again.

So I hear, to be honest, i had never heard of haro , i asked a mate who used to be a bmx pro for some advice. We are just waiting for it to come now, i might even have a go myself
