u know something i read that book when it first came out i also bought that at the carboot sale he catches his bosses daughter either smoking dope or drinking under age cant remember and like all his books ive read u really get engrossed and as tc said u even feel like ur on a knifesedge but not just with begbie with irvine welsh his books are just absolute classics and the characters are all loveable rogues

Have to say I've read all of Irvine Welsh's books and thought he'd gone off the boil with Filth / Glue / Ecstacy, but Porno was a great return to form..
The Acid House is still my fav though

I've loved all his work, ace to read as you really get into it with the way he writes (dialect) remember first asking my mum as she's scottish about 'ken' as that threw me the first time I read one of his books.

They are meant to be making Porno the movie (no not a mucky one, shooms) not sure if it'll have all the same characters though, be nice if it did
