| Boob Jobs! (Prompted by the prog thats on ch5 now) Am I the only one left who hasn't had one/doesn't want one?! I can count 4 of my friends that have already had one, & another 3 that are serious about it, some were/are genuinely really down about having small ones, & others just wanna get one for the hell of it, like my friend who's an E & still wants to go bigger, she just enjoys the attention. Does nobody think its a big deal anymore to have this kind of unneccessary surgery? I don't think its wrong at all, not when properly thought out, just that some people seem to be having them so willy nilly without really considering the gravity of what they're doing to their body. What is your take on this OSA?!!!

| personally i think its up to the individual to decide how they treat their body. I have always thought to myself that I wouldnt have a boob job unless it was 'reconstructive' due to maybe an illness or accident - but as i am getting older and am more aware that they will one day start to head south I dont think id have any problems going under the knife to give them a lift. Anway for now im stuck with ample chestage of a 34 DD so im quite happy to keep them this way. I am also considering Botox/dermal fillers and collagen implants for lips - i dont see anything wrong in it - so far ive not had it done but it hasnt stopped me looking into having it. as for other types of surgery - there are times it can be taken too far. Michael Jackson and Jackie stallone are too way to freaky examples of plastic surgery gone wrong. I think you just gotta be careful and know where to stop. I was recently offered collagen for my lips off a dentist! and its not like i didnt consider it but I decided ill not have it yet as visions of lesley ash filled my head with her trout pout - although i was promised it would be nothing like hers, lol ![]() (in fact im having my braces refitted soon as a couple of my teeth have gone back out of alighnment and im not happy so im having them fixed - i considered veneers but they are too invasive and id rather have my own teeth and apart from a couple of crooked ones theres nothing else wrong with them, lol).....

| Know of quite a few people who've took the plunge over recent years myself, it certainly seems to be coming more and more common as a general rule I dont particularly object to plastic surgery. each to their own and all that, but I think its a bit daft when they have really OTT ones, surely its better to be at least reasonably in proportion ![]() seems to be comments bandied about these days too about 'wanting the falke look' ... that seems a bit bizarre to me , lol not liking those 'two tennis balls cut in half' type ones a la posh spice ![]() but I'd have to say, having big boobs isnt all its cracked up to be and mine arent even that big! ![]() *shrugs* maybe i'd have it done too if I felt really flat and unfeminine etc..as some claim as their reason, as they say, suppose you cant really judge til you've walked a mile in someone elses shoes...or bra ![]() who needs a reason anyway. Maybe they just want a wazzo pair of jugs , just because ![]() I dont know enough about the health risks tbh as ive never looked into it but I think i'd be very wary about it going wrong, leaking implants and scars etc... Mad to think in about 50 years there will be a whole gaggle of old grannies walking round with great knockers that are still somewhere closer to their false teeth than they are to their knees ..... cheating Mother Nature ![]() and I know it sounds mad but I've thought before, when theyre buried, in years to come there will be two huge lumps of silcone left sat there in their coffin ![]() i'll get me coat... ![]()

| I also know a couple of people who've had boob jobs, one of them is a girl my age and the other is a mates Mum so it does seem that everyones at it! Age doesn't really seem to be a factor anymore. Personally I used to want one myself, but over recent years I've resided myself to the fact that I'm just a small boobed person and I'd look kind of out of proportion any other way. I know that more and more people seem to be into this 'fake look', from being dangerously thin to having Jordanesque boobs but I say it's about time people celebrated a bit of individuality. After all, who is it that people are trying to aspire to with these modern body trends anyway... barbie?! I suppose if you have real issues with your body then things like surgery are one solution but surely if everyone wasn't trying to live up this unrealistic ideal then people wouldn't have so many issues. |

| I was seriously considering it a couple of years back.... I'm 21 and still in kids size bras, and it is a bit embarrassing to walk into a place in which the only bras in your size have snoopy or fucking winne the pooh on them! La Senza do the only decent ones for 30B It does get you down....when you are growing up, guys always like the pretty girls, and the ones who have big boobs. At this very point in time, my belly is probably bigger than my boobs!!! Im generally a size 10, and feel like I should at least be a C cup. It does make you feel less feminine I think. I suppose thats why I'm really funny about having long hair...its the one thing I can say makes me feel like a girl! I would have a boob job if I had the money, but more importantly, could guarantee that I would have the money to replace them sometime in the future. I think its every 10 years or something. ![]()
