No worries mate. I used to engross myself that deeply into the vibe that speech was not always easy... except the obligatory "how you doin" followed by "nice one" to anyone who did invade my 36 inches of dance space. I went for a couple of years without learning names, and just about recognising faces from one week to the next. My brother met loads of people, and usually invited people back to ours. Not bad to say we lived in Oldham - and there was always a houseful of like minded types! Happy days... I knew a few folks from Kendal.... that's about it. ![]()

| I don't recall the jumper, but I do know the jacket contained 2 essential items: 1. The keys to the hire van, so I could drive us all home. 2. Dry cigarettes Failure to safeguard both of those items resulted in disaster. The jacket did get taxed out of the Zone "cloakroom" once... and an epic recovery mission followed.... so I might also have been avoiding a repeat performance of that night. The final, and most probable reason is: "How do I know? I was off me tits!"

| Jimmy Dear Boy, Of course I remember the car. Specifically I recall: 1. Coming home from Burnley when I'd been spiked on Double Diamonds and thinking we were going interstellar... Was only snow, but looked great from where I sat. 2. Travelling in the boot to Blackpool when I couldn't get a good seat. I think me and Marny came home in someone else's boot - we were boot tarts in them days! 3. When you asked me and Spy to keep a look out for your dad while you angle-grinded 20mm off your wheel arch at my house... and due to my and Spy's afternoon of Billy and 20/20 we forgot we were on watch when your Dad appeared - whoops! I found this pic of Pricey and me on the street, and I think that is your car to the right... but not sure.
