One mad week in blackpool

Had a realy top week in Blackpool with my daughter Yasmin which was finished with one of them sort of weekends that people usualy say "Oooo, you should have been hear last w.end"

On Friday they had a massive fireworks display on the Central pier to mark the end of summer which was fantastic. The next day me and Yasmin went to the plesure beach (which was almost empty) and ran the hell out of the pepsi max, and went on just about every ride twice lol.

But......

The best was yet to come, On Sunday they had one of them "Vodafone T.B.A gigs on the beach. It was The Kaiser Chiefs....and it was free. Never been a masive fan of there's in the past, But what a bunch of entertaining folk they where. Abbsolutly fantastic to watch live, and realy conected with the crowd. The highlight for me was when the lead singer Ricky desided to take it upon himself to clime right up to the top of the stage rigging, about 30 foot, and started singing "I predict a riot" AWSOME !!!. If you ever get a chance to see them live, please do....they where Fantastic.

It all got filmed live by T4. Got loads of Pics and vids, I will try and up them when i get a chance.

P.S saw a good couple of pub fights on a the night time after the pubs kicked out.....well, It would not be Blackpool without one hey!! lol

Glad you had a good un dude, soz i never got round to replying to your text, i read it whilst i was driving and then had loads of shit to do and then it becomes too late, you know how it is, except the driving bit obviously

Me and Brandon actually did Blackers the weekend before which was actually pretty cool. We drove through the illuminations, they were as shit as always but the two and a half hours it took in the car we had a top laugh. There were fireworks then too, it was building up to the world championships or summat which i think is next weekend which i went to a few years ago and is awsome!!

Ive yet to try the Pepsi Max rollercoaster yet, always used to make the mistake of leaving it til the Sunday to think about it, then deciding : feeling rough as a woodchip dildo + big swirly ride may possibly = projectile vomiting onto unsuspecting punters in the queue below
