im on this and i find it perfect for my needs - it even runs my xbox as well as my laptop at the same time online with no problems either. Ive had no probs with downtime either and the service has been very good.
It is also unlimited downloads, your not capped at a certain limit with this.

I think you get the upto 2mb standard on the 3 for £30 service but i paid extra and have 10mb now as i play online games.

had it for over 7 years, never had any probs(touch wood, ummm thats nice)in all that time, the net has only gone down twice, just an hour or two each time, all though lately the band width seems to drop to around 1meg at tea time, but at night after 12 it can reach around 10 meg,im supposed to recieve a 4 meg speed,a bloke i know in the buisness tells me they are limiting bandwidth at busy times but not capping download limit,i`d go for it mate,£30 a month for 12 months for all three is very reasonable, sky might be open for haggling or vise versa, just say you have been offered this or that and if they can better it with higher broadband speed or extra tv channels for same price or better you`ll go with um,
happy haggling

only 3 shekles

its worth at least 10

I am definetly going on this when my orange contract runs out, My friend got it an swears by it. He got the mobile phone for £10 month and the broadband £10 month. if you get the broadband you can buy a digital box off ebay around £100 one off payment and you can get every Sky channel ( apart from sky 1 ) the football, films porn, so well worth it aparently it doeant loose any speed because they dont use normal phones lines its fibre optics.

Thanks for the link

So what do these do for me - I've got the 3 for £30 promotion (Land line phone/Cable modem/Samsung set top box)

It replaces the set top box, right?

yeah i like virgin central - its TV on demand (and its free) but you can pause and rewind whatever show you want to watch - whenever you want - I havent missed sky one at all on virgin - then again I have the virgin cable and internet in my room only. We have sky in the main living room and if i want to watch anything on sky one i go downstairs.
I prefer my virgin cable to sky and id deffo say go for the virgin tv and internet package - its a good deal.

no BT charge, you totally get rid of the BT line, your phone with cable comes through cable / fibre, not over the standard copper BT line.
