car hire in europe?

so what can you guys reccommend?
is it best to do via the net before you go, if so, which company?
or better to sort out when you get there?

I've used argus.com alot which seraches all the hire companies at the desination your going to. Always much cheaper to pre book.

We have used hertz and eurocar before. both decent.

just check the excess charges if anything happens to the car!!

Some for a very small fee have no liabilty for damaged or theft .. . it's worth it!

And don't forget your driving license!! I know someone who did!!

Agree, I always use travelsupermarket.com for my car hire and haven't had any trouble yet. and pre-booking is cheaper and gives you peace of mind. Just pick it up from the airport and you're sorted.

having trouble checking all the insurance side of things tho
the do u spain one is a bit better for that purpose
