 Well chuffed! After having been ripped off with a car! Proof that if you scare people, that's sometimes the only way to get results! Yesterday morning I picked up my £1400 for a car that was sold to me when the guy knew what he was doing was dodgy as fook. After he orignally said he was not giving me my money back I had to get a couple of people to go up there and have a few words (nowt more!) and after taking the car back, voila! He gives me all the money in full!  I honestly never thought I'd see that money again. Even after he got found out, he still tried to wangle his way out! He even tried saying when we asked him if he had the money "bear in mind she was driving round in it for almost a month with free tax/MOT etc" (in other words, was gona try and chip me in price) WTF!! You can't sell someone a dodgy car and then after you get found out come out with something like that!    Anyways, I've got my cash back and the lessons learnt from this shitty experience are too many to mention! lol. AND ALWAYS remember that HPI check!  Has anyone else had an experience like this with a car or owt else?? I'm not normally one to fall into this trap of getting conned as I refuse to let people take the piss out of me (that's why I came back to him fighting! ) but I know f@ck all about cars so I suppose it was easier to get trapped! All loose ends tied up before Ibiza and I can finally start to relax! Just thought I'd let you in on my cheerful mood seen as I can! I'm bloody well in the money! lol xxx      |

| Well done sonz, thats well sh*t, glad you got ur cash back tho. I had a mate years ago who bought a car for cash (bout 2 grand) drove him home, woke up in the mornin and it had gone! The swine who sold it came and took it back with the spare key and he dint have a leg to stand on coz he dint have the log book, the bloke said he would send it off that day. No proof of purchase, no car, no cash! What a muppet! |
