Time For a Moan!!!!

I am sooooo pissed off at this moment in time!!

I bought a PSP game from a particular games store and when my son tried to play it, it wouldn't work!!

My son of course let the receipt fall out of the games packet!
I looked everywhere for the receipt but couldn't find it!

I went back to the store and explained my case. He said there was nothing he could do!! I was not impressed!!
I wasn't even asking for a refund, just a replacement!!

So before i stormed out of the store i told the guy to ram the game as far as he could up in his hole!! Then i left! The guys face was a picture!!

Made me feel a bit better lol!!

Has anyone had any bad experiences like this? Or is it just me!!

i have in " tesco " ..... got wrong outfit for my evie [ it was to small] so i took it to customer services [ what a crock that is ]

Because i didnt have reciept she wouldnt do anything , she looked at me like a was a scroat , then she spoke to me in that condersending way , i told her she was no good at her job and needed to get a personality if she wanted to continue workin with the public , and i would not be using the store again, i walked off quite happy with my self ................

[ but i was holding a 4 week old baby who was upset as she was hungry and the girl was only about 12 . cocky cow wound me right up ]

And i will not be using the store again

was it a cash ? or switch card transaction its just i used to work in a shop (many moons ago......) and they can trace a transaction on the system as they would have a copy of the reiceipt if it was a switch card, just need to know when it was bought and approx time (done this in currys too when i had to take a kettle back that was leaking and id lost the reciept but they found the transaction for me ). Not sure if this games shop can do that but it is worth a try.
The shop muppet he sounds like a jobs worth and if i was you id complain to the manager and headoffice, then again id hope the game really hurt him where the sun dont shine

It was a cash transaction unfortunately!

The worst part was explaining to my 6 year old son that this tosser would not change the game! But, i said i'd get him another one from somewhere else.

You do NOT need a receipt to take goods back.

If you say when and how you paid for this and who served you they should be able to trace.

Go back and if they don`t tell them that you are informing the local Trading Standards Officer as they are breaking the Law (find them in your council) and then inform them that you will take the barstewards to the small claims court.

And then you are supposed to tell him what a complete wanker he has been.

Follow through your threats but I bet you get a response.

if your lumbered with a game that doesnt work and want to get something back for it , may be a lot less than what you paid but better than nothing, bring it to your nearest game station and trade it in, all they do is look to see that the game is in the box with the instructions.

Or buy the game again, then keep the reciept, and then take the duff one back, just say its no longer required and return the knackered one...
