| All you have to do is ask man, ill be more conciderate ![]() On a more serious note, ive had a word wth a client of mine, he leases 30+ properties out in the chester area to students and the like, hes gonna get back to me later but from what im told liability to some extent falls onto the owner, as he is responsible for the tenent, thats why many of them ask for references and what not, will let ya know what he says later mate. If all else fails ill get the transit out and take em down the marshes for ya ![]() Rob

| Shooms What you need to do is keep a diary if you haven't already - then contact Portsmouth's Private Sector Housing department, who should have the appropriate officers to deal with nusciance problems, either Enviro health or specialist officers (as at MCC). The person responsible depends on who has written the tenancy agreement. If this is the leaseholder who has instructed the letting agent, then its theirs, otherwise if its a letting agent using their tenancy agreements, then they are the first port of call - ultimately though the leasholder has responsibility as to which letting agent they use....... good lucl ![]()

| shit state of affairs this - i fucking hate background noise of any kind!!! i can hear my neighbours running up n down their stairs and banging doors and thats enough to piss me off! god knows what id do if i had to go thro endless hours of loud chav music and screaming!!! think itd be a case of doing time for me tbh hope ya get sorted hun ![]() |

| Update. The fuckers have fucking fucked off ! ![]() And about fucking time & no fucking mistake ! Thanks to all for all the advise. What swung it was getting the noise abatement council people in to witness what was a'gwaaaan & they served formal legal notice to cease & desist. Also the Leasing agency offered them a free walk option. Plus laddo lost his job so they couldn't afford the next months rent I'm guessing. Makes me think twice about where I am at the mo.... been there 10 years & always been cheap & good enough for me.... until you realise you have very little input over choosing who lives above you. I may become a hermit in a cave.
