Angry Spiders

Oh.My.God.

I swear there must've been an escaped tarantula round Cheshire that has mated with normal spiders...you should have seen the size of the one in the shower on Sunday
I absolutely cacked myself, have never seen one that big before, apart from an actual tarantula that is. It was an absolute monster. And although I sound feeble and ridiculous I was in a right state when I saw it, heart was beating like a drum and was nearly in tears lol

When Woody captured it with a pint glass he said it about filled the circumferance of it with it leg span Horrific.

Might sound mad but how the hell do they emerge out the plugholes?
Right, it must travel upwards in the pipe, which is anti-gravity in the 1st place, and this one was way too big to just crawl effortlessly through one of the grid bits of the plughole without adjusting its shape so therefore must've had to fold itself upto squeeze through...but surely when it did this and folded its legs in, they are no longer on the pipe so it would fall down?

do i think too much? lol

They're pretty good at getting through small gaps etc! eurgh. I'd have barfed. I can just about cope with the small ones. I know they get rid of flies but do they really need to invade our homes??

Spiders are harmless..... oh apart from the poisonous ones

As long as they keep to their own space we'll get along just fine

I heard once "the average person swallows 8 spiders during their sleep, over their lifetime", so that must mean if your above average you could swallow upto 16! YIKES!

uurrgh :shudder:
well if thats true (and even if it is, its erm not! in my blissfull ignorance convince-yourself mind anyway, lol) then this beast from the weekend would be excused from that, as it'd be like trying to swallow an octopus whole it was that big lol
feck me it'd be spider drumsticks and chips all-round for dinner

there is no need for then buggers to be so big surely, lol. the small ones can eat flys equally as well

Deffo Id rather keep a few spideys round to sort out the flys,I hate fly's,specially the mossie biting kind. The more arachnids i keep round the less i get bitten, and i swell up like a mofo when i get bit off the flying twats

I quite like spiders - can honestly say I've never killed one intentionally - actually good things to have one around the house as they kill wasps / flies etc - maybe if I lived in Aus might be different, but the ones here are no harm to anyone.........unless they evolve.....

spiders scare the crapola outta me - they send me into what my friends call my 'frenzy dance' - where i run around in a blind panic screaming 'get em offffff meeeeeee'
I really hate them - and ive had to shift some massive ones in the past from the house (which is why i love cats cos they used to eat em for me )
and yeah ive had some where they fill the circumference of a pint glass............scary

anyhoooo ive one thats taken up home in my wing mirror and no matter what i try i cant seem to get it ive even blasted water behind to flush it out lol - darn thing clings onto its web for dear life even when i hit 70 on the mway................i tried to flick it off with a tissue but it stuck to the tissue lol and ran up it towards me and i dropped it on the driveway & I thought yay i have gotten rid of it.....next day it was back crawling out the bottom of my wing mirror git. im scared to open the window fully in case it blows in while im driving and tbh id prob go to pieces! lol
