Unexpected WAP charges ??!!!
Had a 'courtesy' call from Voda just to tell me that last Thursday my phone decided to use WAP from 3.30 PM to 8 PM at a total cost of 250 quid

How gay... I don't use WAP (why would I ? I have a lappy with BB at my fingertips all day every day)... they are 'investigating'...

Anyone ever had anything similar ? Did you get the charges refunded ?

this happened to r kid - he had his phone in his pocket and accidentally pressed keys which logged on to the wap application! luckily it wasnt for very long but he still got charged

the work put me on voda , but the charges r fooooking sky high, they have now stopped putting credit on my blower as i was using £20 a month & i dont get call outs , so im going bac on orange & giving them the voda chip bac ,

Shit shooms, we have had 3 or 4 people in complaining about really huge wap bills with the n95!

Apparently if you dont press the button to physically opt out of the gprs it carries on running and running

Ya prolly wont get a refund coz youv'e opted in ... kick off tho anyway lol they might meet ya half way if yer lucky.

You only paid for data downloaded on wap therefore it shouldn't have cost you anything. PS- also I get charged for downloading ringtones from orange that I have never downloaded. They aren't very good about refunding it either
