| Was gonna post summat about this earlier but work got in the way Shit innit... There's another one on the BBC site where it says the vast majority of blokes would not apply for a kids care assistant type role for fear of being branded a paedo....  Come on ffs

| total bollocks....as if kids getting abducted etc is a new thing....think moors murderers etc.....its prob been happening for centuries, its just todays blanket news coverage makes it seem as if its happening every day now. prob the only thing that is worse for kids now is traffic, gettin run over etc, cos there is more of it. gotta let kids play out or their missing out on being kids really.

| Yeah but the other side of the media coin is that if the media back in the 70's would have been like today maybe more kids would have been saved from evil cnuts like the moors murderers..............sorry but im a paraniod parent, even if it is millions to one that it will happen to mine, its too big of a risk to take, could i live with myself if sommat happened to one of mine and i could have done more to prevent it answer is NO, its got to happen to someone and i will take every step not to let it happen to mine, ask the lad in hospital who was hit by lightening, it has to happen to someone no matter what they tell you the odds are, so for now until the goverment eradicate all peadophiles and the like, i will keep being paranoid just like i lock my car whilst paying for petrol and like i lock my front door when i leave home! Prevention is better than cure
