Spare a thought for Barry Scott of Cillit Bang!

He needs 1 & 2p coins for that amazing clean the tarnish off a coin trick.

How would you like to be the hero (a real man's man) of domestic cleaning products and have something like the abolishment of copper coins forced on you?

See nobody thought of that did they! Why am I not surprised. Huh!

One p's save my life!!! I have this money pot...wich i put all my small bits of change...and just at the time when I'm absolutely flat broke...there'll be a tenner in one p's just saved to put in the coin star thing at sainsbury's!!!!!

As a tight git I feel obliged to tell you that the coin star machine takes at least 7% of your money for counting it. You could buy a loaf of bread with that 70p!

Not good!! Anyway, perhaps it's just me. . . . isn't part of the fun counting it???

just remembered a lad in our work ... right lying sod ..

anyway he reckoned he found a million pounds worth of old one penny coins in his loft in jam jars .... nearly fell of my stool when he came out with that one lol

the joists in his loft must of been made out of steel lololololol

mr shooms we have a ATM machine like that at my local shop and i nearly had a heart attack when it charged me £1.50 to get my own money out [ robbin b*****ds]
the cheek of it .... i havent used it since because of principle and im a stingy git with my money
