Films with Clark Gable in:

Clark Gable

Have fun! I haven't seen too many of his films, apart from Gone With The Wind...I liked 'The Misfits' but possibly that was because Marilyn Monroe was in it!

I used to love James Cagney films when I was a kid...'Angels With Dirty Faces' and 'White Heat'. "Take that, copper!" etc etc.

*EDIT* - This one's good! The Roaring Twenties (1939)

Deffo not gay. He was married to one of the most beautiful actresses of the time, Carole Lombard (she was his third wife). She was killed in a plane crash in 1942, he was devastated and went off to join the Air Force to get over it. He didn't appear in any films for three years because of this.

He was married 5 times I think and has a son from one of his marriages. I know some actors went to great lengths to hide being 'on the other bus' back then, but I'm fairly sure he wasn't one of them!
