Rufus Wainwright - Genius?

Just wondered what peoples thoughts on Rufus Wainwright are.

Elton John has been quoted as saying he is the greatest singer songwriter alive today.


Personally I think he is a bloody genius ( a proper one!) and his current song "Going to a Town" is a work of art.

Did anyone see his performance on Sunday AM this morning, I cannot believe they cut it short with the credits. .. . .Gordon Brown must have overrun! Perhap most of you were in bed???

Don't think Da Kidz have heard of him either!!!!!!!!!!

Think the best chart position one of his albums has had is about No. 24!
His current one will be a hit though. . . .I can feel it in my water!

Good to listen to a variety of music though. Not a dance music only kind of guy!
