Paris Hilton's Jail Sentence!!!

How is the poor lass gonna cope!!!

Paris Hilton - News

I mean, drinking and driving certainly can't be condoned, but being in prison must be the most depressing thing to go through...

Its weird with some crimes, like minor drug offences, the perpetrator doesn't usually feel/intend to be doing anything seriously wrong/harming anyone yet they end up banged up for policy reasons.

It is right...and it has to be that way or the whole system would fall apart....but so frustratingly unfair at the same time...

I don't see why she should be treated any differently to anyone else myself. Might show her the other side of life for a change. if they pardonned her, it;d only be a matter of time before she did it again. At least this way, although i can appreciate it must be pretty scary for her, she really will consider her actions more carefully. Money can't allow people to flaunt the law, although saying that i'm sure it has helped people in the past

Most will feel it hard to sympathise with her tbh, she has been dealt with as like anyone else and the Judge told her as much...

There is a petition to have her released on her webpage cos she brings hope and inspiration to peoples lives!?!!" OMG!!! Can you believe that shit

Keep her banged up then if only for the sake of the little children if that waste of space is what they aspire to

BUT!! It will be harsh maybe even ten-fold for a pampered little princess like Paris, so i cant help but feel sorry for her but tbh plenty more out there more deserving of sympathy and lets face it; she needs a fuckin slap deffo

Oh the way the world has changed!

Celebrities used to get off with murder, just because they were famous didnt they? The system protected them and we didnt want to believe they were bad!

These days, were a nation of bitterness and jealousy and we like to see lucky and successful people fail and be destroyed. Now "the system" appears to feel the same. Celebrities are exploited to be made examples of in the public eye and subsequently the media and the public revel in their downfall.

Not that i'm in anyway condoning drink driving, infact, it usually pisses me right off, but there are far more henous crimes that criminals usually get off with a fine or a bit of community service.

I won't be signing her petition though as she is exploiting her celebrity status to sway the verdict, which is just as bad as the courts making an example of her.

(until now, i didnt even know she was going to jail so I dont even know where that opinion came from tbh lol just sheer waffle i reckon lol)

yeah i feel sorry for the heiress of a multimillion pound hotel empire (not) she gets banned driving for being drunk at the wheel and then drives again, if she calls that being inspirational to other peoples lifes then she's as dim as she looks........if it was some no mark knob head they wouldnt blink an eye, my guess is that she drives a really powerful car to boot, im glad my kids werent crossing the road when she was wasted driving around! she needs to shut up and do her time, the soft git.....look at the lifestyle she has to come home to, god her sentence is only days anyway ffs!!!!

Her first offence was drink driving, for which she lost her licence and quite right to! She got pulled again while banned for driving without lights on. . . . . . This unfortunately disproved the theory "the lights are on but nobody's home", which is a real pity.

The great shame of this is that she will get even more publicity now and all I want, is for all of these people to vanish from view.

If only people would stop buying the magazines that they appear in they would!

Oh Utopia, you're blowing in the wind!

cant imagine her going.... bet her lawyers find some weird loophole or other at the eleventh hour
have heard she's sacked her publicist or something because allegedly he told her it'd still be ok to drive for business reasons yeah whatever.. even if thats true then surely she cant be so stupid as to have believed it

they'll eat her alive in the nick . Especially if she starts throwing a spolit brat tantum and hissy fit

When all said and done, if it wer me who got caught or anyone else on this forum doing what she did and we got sentenced what she did, there would be no chance of a pardon, so why the fuck should she just cos her dads got loads of cash??? she aint no one important its ppl like us what makes her so well known, so im not gonna say owt more about it other than the big lezzers in there are gonna have a field day -lol and feed her to the pigs.
al say somat else actually, she needs to stop living in the lime light if she wants to be getting away wi drink driving etc. silly airhead deserves all she gets for thinking she can get away with it.
LOL at the fact that her parents are trying to speak to arnie al be back schwarzenegger to see if he can pull a few strings to stop her from having to go in-ffs its like an episode of footballers wives. comedy. there goes that saying again: only in america...

I agree, she shouldn't be pardoned IF that is the set penalty for everybody, ....but they are making an example of her according to her lawyer.

But my point being, aside from whether its a celebrity or anyone else, prison is a really shitty place to be, i've seen people I know get sent down for such petty things & its horrible, one split second mistake and the next few years of your life are gone. My friend will be going down for 3-5 years within the next few months...just for trying to make a bit of extra cash on the side...he wasn't hurting anyone. But aye thats the way it has to be...

And my mum, whose pushing 60, has just had a letter through telling her she went through a red light and will be getting the standard £60 fine and 3 points and will be in the Court in Brief section of the paper (this is what sparked this thread) She's adamant the light was still amber blah blah. I mean, its not a prison sentence, and it will probably teach her a lesson....but sstill...a split second mistake...
