Sweet deviants.

What do you reck to chocoalte and shit that sways off the old tar path?

I am thinking Peanut Lion bars/Chunky Kitkat, Dark Kit Kats (them lemon ones a few years back were ace) that kind of shiznit.

I reck overall that they are a good thing, espesh when done for a limited time.

Any suggestions for what to try would be greatly appreaciated. In returenth i advise you all to stay away from Mars Planets, which are really dead crap.

Kitkats are the perennial flitatious attention-seeker... I've seen & sampled em in...

Lemon yoghurt (lush..sorta taste like the lemon puffs)
Dark mint choc (my fave)
Caramac (one finger was enough - v v sickly)
White choc (not a big fan)
Dark choc (nice)
Orange (nice)
Peanut chunky (v disappointing actually - not as peanutty as I thought it was going to be)
Caramel chunky (one bite & it's all over yer chin)
Seville chunky (as above)
Fruits of the forest chunky (as above but worse)
Tiramisu chunky (not that bad at all if I recall correctly)

Chunky KitKat's can't compete with regular 4 fingered KitKats

I always feel like i've been ripped off eating one

The best ever sweet deviant is the peanut BUTTER M&M - in a red bag & only from America....

If you like peanut butter it's to die for

Which is bizarre as all chocolate American made like Hersheys etc taste like vom wrapped up in dog chocolate

Agreed on the Mars Planets, they are not as nice as they look. I just love anything cadburys, carmel, dairymilk, flake, whole nut...owt with cadbury choc, mmm its loverly. oh no cept for cadburys cream egg, the stuff in the middle makes me feel sick, the consistency of it is horrible imo.
At the minute tho, me n sam are loving fox's digestive bars, they taste delish

Chunky kit kats rule and imo are far superior to the original model.

Not really a sweet diviant so it isn't really relevant but anyhoos - isn't it refreshing to see that Star Bars have stood the test of time - they are without doubt the finest chocolate bar in existence.

First they were in a brown & yellow wrapper when I was a wee bairn growing up in the highlands of Scotland (don't know if they were the same in England). Then they disappeared completely. Then the mysterious Peanut Boost arrived (which pretty much seemed to be a Star Bar re-badged), then they dispensed with the facade (and the Peanut Boost) and re-issued the Star Bar with a new yellow / blue etc wrapper. Even these were on the brink of extinction though and you really had to shop around to find them but now......they're everywhere (including Asda!).

And long may it continue

I am with you homie on that one.

Gosh Shooms, your knowledge base on the Kitkat range is mega impressive. I disagree with the Hershy thang tho- yes their plain choc bars do smell of vomit and is tre horrible, but the Nutrageous and Peanut Butter Cup things are ace.

Hate it when something good is discontinued.

I think the original orange jelly stuff ones are the best! I'll second the raspberry ones being rancid!

I myself quite like kitkats but my portfolio isn't quite as good as yours.

The ones I've tried are:

chunky's..... white choc (ace), dark choc (delish) and normal (best of the three. I have also tried the limited edition seville orange flavour and the caramel one (didn't really like either-too much for me and I can't do my freakish way of eating them with these flavours, dissappointing! )

I also really like the 2 finger orange and also the mint options, so yummy!
