This may sound a bit random but

.. just to satisfy my curiosity after a conversation yesterday

ok...Imagine a wasp.... stripey body, right?

Do bees have stripey bodies too under all their fluff, or is it just the fluff thats stripey? anyone know

anyone willing to shave one to find out? lol

sorry but its been bugging (no pun intended..) since we were discussing it

ah-ha! a breakthrough , of sorts... honeys bees look like they are stripey with or without their 'jumpers' jurys still out on other sorts though it seems (wasnt aware there were loads of different ones anyway )

Description: The honey bee is covered with short, dense hair, normally golden-brown and black, its body is striped

not quite sure why but I was rooting for the answer to be yes they have stripey bodies too , its funkier lol

and I would also like to say I think bumblebee is a great word

bees , no question. they're all bumbly and cute
wasps are just like stripey wanker torpedos

I strangely dont really mind being stung by a bee, but if a wasp does it.... i want to 'spinning bird kick!' and get all "hiiiiiya!" on the mutha
