Morning all.....

Well first of all congratulations on your purchase........a fantastic console for the money........

Basically the 360 uses emulation to play XBOX1 games and not all of them work. And you need to be connected to XBOX Live in order to download the small piece of software which enables this emulation.

I'm guessing that your not connected to XBOX Live........in this case you can get the software from here :-

I have to agree - PS3 - no need to waste hard earned cash on one of them piles of junk - A 360 is all ya need.
Besides, A PS3 ain't gonna do nothing that an XBox hasn't already been doing for years.

Yes there are only certain XBox games you can play on the 360 - Most Tom Clancy games are backwards compatible -

Thats because Sony oversupplied the PS3 at Launch, so basically everyone who wanted one on the First Day Got One.

Microsoft undersupplied the Xbox360, and obviously didn't have enough to supply the demand for them.

I realise the PS3 is overpriced, but for what you get i'm pretty sure it works out cheaper than the 360 if you sit them side by side. For a start you get a Blu-Ray player on PS3, its an extra £120 for a HD-DVD Drive for the 360, Internet is free on PS3 also. Xbox live is good, but at a cost.
