old skool in the Catholic Club

I was at a 21st on Saturday night at the local Catholic Club, anyway the music was a bit tat so I nipped home for my Italian CD collection.

By the time I got back there was still nobody up dancing so we gave the CD's to the dj and asked if he could play some of the choons on it.

The first choon he put on was Hardplayers - Joy of Music and more or less everyone looked at each other as if to say 'this cant be happening, not in the local club'

Anyway there was a sudden surge onto the dancefloor and thats where we stayed for the rest of the night as the dj played all the biggies off my CD, at one point there was a few 50 somethings up with us, hands in the air and all that........what a fecking laugh!!
