That's not acually true though, few if any religious doctrines have told anybody to go to war. Most religions stand for peace not war.

Therefore other factors cause wars!

Why the frig is the largest Mosque in Europe to be built in England anyway, regardless of who is paying for it? Surely it would be better having it in Turkey or something...

If the plans were for a Swiss, German, Italian, or French city then it would just be a pipe dream and never get beyond planning stage, but thanks to our weak politicians and council leaders trying not to upset the muslim demographic in particular and less worried about protecting our own heritage then this will probably pass to the building stage, cost far more than the estimate, then have the British taxper pay the extra which will probably be at least double the original estimate for the project.

Now THAT is the best post on this thread imo... at least it resonates most with me...

A mans religion (or not as the case may be) is his own affair... but if you live in this country you are British 1st & foremost...& should be PROUD to be so... if you disagree then you know where the Dover ferries are... get the fuck out of my country.

It's probably mainly about creating a very strong message to Europeans and creating a massive central base for future projects and funding

I am British by birth, English by the grace of God & I love my country & all it stands for. Or at least used to stand for.
