I think to be honest us scots on the whole are more tolerant and will open their doors to all and embrace anyone, but woe betide (love that word) those who take advantage of the generosity. As a group of bosnian(?) refugees who were placed in the most poverty striken area of Glasgow, given furnished flats and were found to be selling the furniture off for cash. Mix that with a group of pissed off locals who saw red and next thing you know a convoy of coaches turned up and bussed the blighters down to England for their own safety. I think a few stragglers who missed the bus ended up murdered by some chavs and sengas high on MD20/20 and Buckfast.
