is it the muslims or is it the whole community?

there must be a reason for this difference?
Its probably due to the nature in which they came here. The government invited them, much to the dislike of many older people in the north west. Many of the first immigrants to arrive here are very very very patriotic and loyal to the UK. Its the generation of young Muslims who are a similar age to myself who are the problem......they hate everything people like me stand for......why? I really don't understand.

if any of you have the time then please watch this....

YouTube - Radical Islam: Terror in Its Own Words (Part III-B)

and forget the fact that its a cheesy thing by American TV!

The point is....I hate the brainwashing....and the hate which that religion promotes in those communities. I feel like some of the same hate is building up in the Muslim communities of the UK, and there is certainly evidence for it.

In fact, I'd like to suggest this.
If all the governments in the world had their chance over in the 1930's, wouldn't you like to think they'd stop some of the hate, brainwashing and propaganda to prevent the holocaust from happening?

Why is nobody doing anything about this?

The very same ones who every day see british and american soldiers killing other muslims, they also have to deal with the pretty large increase in anti muslim feeling in this country at the moment

if you treat then like scum they will become scum, then their friends will bow to peer pressure and become scum, much like the gangs in the states

no you are wrong

it is the hate that a few members of that religion promote, they take the peaceful words of the koran and twist them to use for their own purposes

it is not the islam religion that promotes hate just some of the followers

if you are so well studied in islam what are the main differences between the bible and the koran?

Thats the thing. I personally have never treated anyone like scum. They have shown me that they view me as exactly that. Heretic scum. How can I react to that when I have had no other experience?

They do not acknowledge Jesus as the son of God, he is a mere prophet to them - thats probably the main one they might tell you. They believe the Koran is the revealed exact and literal word of God presented through Mohammad. The Koran however, is largely a re-interpretation and mistranslation of the Bible.....and the Old Testament of the Bible is the Jewish Torah.

I think the main reason is that the Scots are used to being invaded in large numbers over the centuries. Admitedly by the English...

all correct, except i would take exception with the above part

it is meant to be gods word as given by mohammad whereas the bible is a collection of fables written by men

another difference is that the koran makes predictions some of which have come true

it is largely impossible to correctly translate it into english and get the true meaning of it as the muslims see it

well yes of course all that is true, meaning is lost in every translation. The other problem with the Koran is that the implications are that God knows all of history, and is present throughout history......when Muslims fail it is Gods doing, and when they suceed it is also his doing. How does this make other Muslims view the terror attacks? Gods work...... I really struggle with it all. I cannot say that the Bible or Torah make these claims. The Old Testament and Torah are notorious for their 'eye for an eye' sentiments, but with the Koran its different.....you can't interpret what is supposed to be Gods word.
