Has anyone got any reccomendations for companies they've found bargains from in terms of

a) Travel Insurance

b) Car Hire

yo tc, i get free travel insurance from my bank, and its a good one too!!

im in the natwest and have got an advantage gold account and get loads of free stuff, free currency chande with good rates, free fone insurance, cheap days out etc.....

othet than that my mum uses GoTravel and theres another 1......i'll try n remember the name for ya later

as for car hire, depende what country ur going too, expedia can give you an idea i think,

but other than the normal reputable avis n hertz europcar etc......

Not clued up on the car hire thing, but i use the post office for travel insurance, its dead good-so they tell me

If you're off to America and need a 4x4, or are snowboarding and need the best insurance that always comes through then I know who to use, but for a summer hol then not sure.

I'd get a European Health Insurance Card though if you haven't got one already

Go travel insurance, I use them every year and get a annual insurance to go any where ( apart from skiing ) for around £45, can use as often as you like.

dont bother with travel insurance and hire a moped or quad bike instead of a car.

hehe everyself respecting engrish tourist has to do it, its custom for us to look liek a bunch of twats mincing around on scooters on holiday hehe. luckily i lived in greece for 3 years so they took pity on me and got me a CBR 600 with a hook on for my record box hehehe

Nics ~ I used to have Advantage Gold account actually but changed it about 2 months ago, typically
