Longest day of my life yesterday. Had to wait 8 hours while the head of Asia was on a plane to Singapore. They came back with a much bigger offer (Over 20k more) but wouldn't shift on the corporate title. Job title is really important in Japan, its a really hierachical society, and I was going to have double the responsibility of the job I had been offered here but not the same title. So I turned them down. Felt gutted about it, but am excited to be joining Merrills in London. Japan will still be there in a couple of years, its all about timing.

I think I am more gutted that my 3 months of gardening leave is coming to an end and I am going back to work!!!
