I was aToyota fan when I had my MR2, I have to agree. But she's set her heart on this particular Peugeot she's seen and she's as stubborn as I am so nothing will change her mind now, lol bless her

I reckon that's probably true!

2 years of driving bliss with mine then once the warranty ran out, the fecking engine decides to self destruct then a year or so later it does it again

I know this wouldn't fit much in the boot but I haven't got kids so it doesn't matter..... I'd get a mini-you can get one of them for under 10grand (just) and they're mint!

I drive a Jaguar X Type at the moment, but wouldn't recommend it for your needs. The boot is tiny. Currently looking to replace it with a Renault Scenic or similar, or just something cheap.

This time last year in my last job I had an Audi RS4 Avant as a company car and a fuel card. That WAS mint. Only 18mpg average though.

How times change eh?

DeeDee here..........We've just traded in the scenic for a peugeot 307 sw you can get extra seats and make it up to a 7 seater with still plenty of room in the boot ,only had it for a few days but im well happy with it..............and as for peugeots not being reliable........we've also got a 306 that we have had for 8 years and its been fab, not had many probs with it at all..........took a good whack up the arse end as well that didnt hardly dent it but wrote the other guys off!

my bro had a head on smash in his mini cooper and the darn thing still drove to the garage despite the fact that it looked like it would be totalled, lol
thing is it was a gas guzzler (petrol), lovely to drive and look at but had crap mpg
(i miss that mini i used to pinch it off him all time and go posing in it, lol)

he has now got the brand new shape renault clio (diesel) and its fab (very roomy inside can fit kiddies and child seats in fine and plenty of boot space for buggies and kiddies stuff and shopping.
